第一次被 Charlie Parker 的薩克斯風感動，我的心就要融化，腳忍不住像與前世註定的夢中情人擁吻一般綣屈翹起。
陰冷的冬天，簡樸的電腦喇叭流瀉出來的音樂這樣深深地感動我，而且還是在狂 research PET 寶特瓶回收過程這種和浪漫百年搭不上邊的情況下，這麼地不合時宜，這麼毫無防備地被深深刺穿。誰知道薩克斯風和弦樂竟能如此溫柔合作且相得益彰，大小提琴和黑管一下子把我拉回50年代美國，王子和公主等會也許就從簾幕後面偕同出現的劇場感將我環繞。
Charlie Parker 這張和過往豪邁 Bebop 不同的管弦樂之作，奠定了往後爵士音樂手與弦樂合作的基石，Clifford Brown、Billie Holiday、Stan Getz 等相繼錄製同類唱片（噢這代表我有更多音樂要聽了），也成為他職業生涯最賣座的專輯之一。啊爵士呀爵士，冬季上海還好有你溫暖我的心。

星期四晚上因緣際會參加新興歌手史茵茵在西門紅樓的演唱會，一股勁挑起我聽爵士的慾望。當晚的睡前音樂 Bill Evans Trio 當然只是助眠，今晚渴望的 Billie Holiday 卻是不可錯認的劃時代爵士代表女伶。要怎麼樣才能唱到字字入血，連在五十年後的今天都讓人感同身受，體悟歌詞中呢喃字句牽引出的情感靈魂？這樣跨時代的情感轉移，真是令人匪夷所思。
